NC Classic builds on our experience from NC v1, which opened to the public on 12 February 2012. Since then, players like you have helped develop this amazing community!
What is NorwayCraft Classic?
NorwayCraft Classic is a classic vanilla-vibes server, with some quality-of-life improvements that build the best MC vanilla experience with the best community!
You should feel like you are playing the very core of Minecraft, but with nice improvements like mcMMO and friendly people!

Ranks are not meant to be game-breaking on Classic; perks will be introduced with the utmost care and balanced continuously.
NCMMO
Play survival, train your skills and unlock cool new super powers! Remember there are different skills to level!
So far you unlock:
Mining:
• Level 50: Super Breaker
• Level 100: Blast Mining
• Level 1000: Mother Lode – chance of extra drops
Woodcutting
• Level 50: Tree Feller – fell whole trees
• Level 150: Leaf Blower
Herbalism
• Level 50: Green Terra
• From level 250: Green Thumb – chance of automatic replanting
Fishing
• Level 150: Shake – get drops from mobs
• Level 200: Magic Hunter
• Better treasure loot as you level
shovel Excavation
• From level 350: chance of diamonds
• From level 400: chance of a trident
• From level 900: chance of Heart of the Sea
• The treasures are found by digging certain block types
Alchemy
• New potion recipes at levels 100, 200, 350, 500, 750, 900 and 1000
Repair / Salvage
• From level 100: chance to keep or extract enchantments
• Better chances at higher levels
⚔ Swords
• Level 50: Serrated Strikes
• Rupture gets stronger over time
Loot unlocks give a chance, not guaranteed rewards. There is no level cap, but many bonuses max out around level 1000. Finished netherite gear cannot be fished up.
Economy
NC Classic's money system is meant to be as stable as possible. It's a long fight to the top of /baltop!
What you can spend coins on:
On NC Classic you can spend coins on:
- AdminShop - food, items and commands.
- AH - the Auction House, where you buy items directly from other players.
- Claim blocks - you can buy claim blocks with /buyclaimblocks
- ChestShop - trade with other players in your own or someone else's chest shop! You'll find all sorts of things here!

How do you earn coins?
There will be lots of ways to earn coins, but right now you earn coins through:
- Playtime - you get coins every hour, day, week and month you clock in hours played! You can track this with /prewards
- The Auction House - you can sell things on the auction house with the command /ah sell [price]. This sells what you are holding in your hand, for the amount you replace [price] with.
- Selling claim blocks. You can sell claim blocks with /sellclaimblocks if you have more claim blocks than you need! You get claim blocks by playing on NC Classic!
- Votes. You can vote for NC with /vote, and earn coins as long as you are online on NC Classic when the vote is sent.
How to protect your base:
Remember to claim your base! Griefing is not allowed, but if you want to avoid your whole base being destroyed, you must remember to claim your area!
The easiest way to claim your base is with a golden shovel: just right-click two corners and your claim is created, if you have enough claim blocks. If you need more, buy them with the command /buyclaimblocks.

Useful commands you should know!

Everyone has access to commands like:
- /rt and /rtp - send you to random places on the map. Remember to stand still!
- /back - sends you back to the last place you were, e.g. where you died or used /home. Remember to stand still!
- /sethome [name] - set a point on the map you want to return to, e.g. your base or the nice house you built
- /home - opens a menu showing all the homes you have set. Remember to stand still!
- /home [name] - teleports you straight to the home. Remember to stand still!
- /tpa [player name] - sends a teleport request to the player, and you teleport when they accept. Remember to stand still!

FAQ
How do I vote on Classic?
You get 250 coins per vote, and you can vote on both Minecraftservers and minecraftmp. You can vote once a day, but you must be on Classic when you vote to receive the reward. Bedrock players must remember the . in front of their username.
Is NorwayCraft Classic a Java server?
Yes, the server runs on Minecraft Java Edition, but you can still join with Bedrock! The IP is slightly different: NorwayCraft.no:19132
Is NorwayCraft Classic free to join?
Yes, everyone should be able to play without paying. However, we rely on donations, in the form of rank and subscription sales, to keep us going.
Does the server have PvP?
NCC does not have PvP enabled. We offer PvP in other game modes than NorwayCraft Classic
Do you have to be Norwegian to play?
No, but the server is primarily Norwegian and the chat is in Norwegian. We don't turn anyone away, as long as they behave.
How often is the world reset?
NorwayCraft Classic is not reset. We expand the map, but we don't reset NCC. Our goal is for NCC to outlive all of us who have helped build it from the start. The_End, however, is reset every January.
