Classic is now 26.3!
Classic has now updated its Minecraft version to 26.3. At the same time the border is expanded, giving even more room to explore and build.
Minecraft 26.3 brings a range of new features and changes that are now available on Classic. Among the biggest news are a whole new biome, new trees, structures and more building options.
New biome: Dappled Forest
26.3 introduces the new Dappled Forest biome. This is a new forest area found near cold biomes.
Here you'll find, among other things, the new poplar trees, which come with red, orange and yellow leaves. The biome also has new red bushes and the new Shelf Mushroom.
The new biome also gets its own variants of the new Abandoned Camp structure.
Nye Abandoned Camps
A new structure called the Abandoned Camp can now be found in a number of different biomes.
The camps have different layouts depending on the biome they are in, and can contain chests and barrels with loot.
In these camps you can also find new Explorer Maps, which can lead you to other camps, Ancient Cities, Trial Chambers, Mineshafts and several other structures.
New building options
The update also gives builders more options.
You can now craft Cushions, which can be placed around and used as seats. They come in all 16 colours.
There are also Wool Stairs and Wool Slabs in all wool colours, plus Concrete Stairs and Concrete Slabs for all the concrete colours.
Straw Bed
Another new addition is the Straw Bed.
It lets you sleep through the night without changing your spawn point. However, the bed can only be used once before it breaks.
A Straw Bed is crafted from three Hay Bales and gives four beds.
Bigger border on Classic
Along with the update to 26.3, the border on Classic is also expanded.
That means more room for new bases, bigger build projects and more exploration. With the new content in 1.26.3, there is in other words even more to discover.

1.26.3 also includes a number of smaller changes and technical improvements:
