Nussaros!
Nussaros is open to the people, and you'll find it at /warp Nussaros
Havaen13 built the whole masterpiece, with a lot of help from the community.
Legends!
Some of our amazing staff from the early days in 2012 have returned and amazed many with their great values and beautiful Legend rank. This is a rank given only to the legends who have truly weathered the storm and kept NC going for years! This is our way of giving them kudos for everything they've had to deal with.
Price increase
The planned rank price increase on 1 March is postponed to 9 March, as the new system hasn't arrived yet.
We stress that ranks are still only meant as support and give no mega advantages. It will still be free-to-play, not pay-to-win.
Unstable and Classic
We are currently seeing a high load on Classic, which means the plan for Unstable has been scaled back from a more advanced and nuanced beta to an early alpha. This also becomes a platform where we can test Folia and research load ahead of a future move away from OpenGL towards Vulkan.
We are also continuously considering opening up minigames like Bedwars, KitPvP etc. Is there interest in an alpha or beta test of some game modes? If so, give us feedback on Discord!
We are also continuously considering a player cap on Classic, but this is something we don't want. So far we've had great help from amazing people in reducing the load from their bases. We appreciate it enormously! Special shout-out to Christian, DanTheMan and FredoMC, who have really taken one for the team!
Youtube
Martin and Fredrik are preparing for a YouTube adventure, as many know! There is already some content from things other than NC, but as soon as we are ready there will be videos from NC, where you can cash in some coins on NC. More info will come when the system is ready. This won't apply from ep. 1, but will come as early as ep. 2 if things work!
Streamers
It's great that so many want to stream! We will therefore find some tools we want to give to streamers.
We do see, however, that many try to troll people while they're live, so we will consider that fair game for a little admin abuse. In other words, we might troll the trolls.
There are, however, people with good intentions who want to create fun moments. They should still be aware that they may quickly get thrown up in the air! NB: be prepared to lose items quickly!
We also ask you to keep copyrighted sounds/music and unwanted language out of your streams!
And remember that even with 50 super nice people who only mean well, it can quickly become too much of a good thing. So use your head and take the hints – otherwise, have fun!
Here's a quick unofficial list of people we've seen go live recently. (Official NC Streamers coming soon!)
Martiniuz (Because I'm writing this puff piece, I naturally have to put myself at the top; otherwise the list is random and quickly pulled from our Discord)
