Universal Rules

Apply everywhere

#	Rule
01	Follow Norwegian law. Read about it here!
02	No advertising of any kind, or anything that could be interpreted as advertising, without prior approval from Martin.
03	Respect each other.
04	Respect the staff and the staff's decisions.
05	Don't act like a damn fool.
06	No inappropriate skins, usernames or other elements that could be perceived as discriminatory or hurtful.
07	Use your language sensibly. Swearing doesn't actually make you cool. Remember that words can hurt too, and affect other people's lives outside NorwayCraft's platforms.
08	Any kind of lag machine will result in a permanent ban from all of NC.
09	Ban evasion, or any other way of avoiding a punishment you have been given, is out of the question. Attempts result in a permanent ban from all NorwayCraft platforms.
10	No glitching or abusing glitches and broken game mechanics. Glitches or broken game mechanics must be reported as soon as you find them. This applies to everything from client and server to misconfigurations.

#	Rule
01	The member list on Discord is to be regarded as NorwayCraft's property and must not be misused to spread advertising.
02	An inappropriate profile picture, status, bio or name may lead to a ban, also on other platforms in addition to Discord.
03	No spamming
04	Remember all the universal rules!

NC Unstable

#	Rule
01	All universal rules.
02	Keep the spawn island safe. Don't push people off spawn
03	We don't allow any third-party software that gives an advantage in the game. That means no X-ray, free cam, hacks, cheats or anything else that gives you an unfair advantage.
04	No anti-AFK devices, scripts or other inventive solutions to avoid being marked AFK.
05	No nagging or spamming

NC Classic Rules

NC Classic

#	Rule
01	No griefing or stealing.
02	No spamming.
03	Show respect for both members and staff on the server. That means: no discrimination. No racism. No sexually charged or insulting language. SHOW SOME MANNERS!
04	Respect the staff, and don't nag!
05	No X-ray or mods that affect gameplay.
06	No advertising of any kind without special permission.
07	No anti-AFK devices
08	Ban evasion. If a banned player uses another account, that account may also be banned.
09	Claims: as a player you are expected to claim the area you use and manage it at your own responsibility. This means that if the area is not claimed, you cannot expect the staff to sort things out.
10	Inappropriate skins/shields/capes are not allowed and may result in a temporary ban / ban until changed.
11	Don't use the Badlion client. This is strongly discouraged and may result in a ban.
12	Blackmail is strictly forbidden.
13	Sharing personal information about others is strictly forbidden, whether or not you have their consent.
14	Threats, e.g. DDoSing, doxxing, killing etc. are strictly forbidden and will result in a ban.
15	Keep sensitive topics in private chat.
16	ChestShops may only be kept in designated areas, which for now is only the Marketplace. ChestShops may only be in rented shop spaces.
17	Chunk loaders are not allowed. However, it is allowed to use several accounts at the same time, and these can be used as chunk loaders.
18	Auto-sorting: we don't allow full-size sorting systems with lots of hopper filters. Use golems instead. You can, however, spread this out over a larger area. Contact the staff for an individual assessment
19	Spread out farms so they are not loaded at the same time. A good rule of thumb is to have 10 chunks between farms, or the option to switch them on and off. Just use common sense so you don't stress the server – it's all relative!

#	Rule
01	Builds, works or writing must not be inappropriate or of a racist or demeaning nature.
02	Don't build lag machines
03	Don't drop items on the ground. Remove items directly from your inventory.
04	Don't spam animals or mobs. Keep the number down to a sensible amount.
05	Roleplay is kept in plot chat.
